Welcome to our 5th grade class, room 406 at Henryville Elementary School located in Henryville, Indiana.
The information contained in this website is intended for my students and their parents or guardians, to keep them updated on the latest happenings, homework and information in our room and our school.

About Me

This school year (2006-2007) will be my second year at Henryville Elementary. I would like to introduce myself to my class, and their parents or guardians.

I am a graduate of New Albany High School, class of  "1976". I also graduated from Indiana University Southeast, class of "2002". Now what happened in between those dates? I joined the U.S. Navy at the end of the summer of 76' and completed 20 years of service as of January 1997. I was stationed on several different types of ships and two shore stations during my 20 years. I have seen many countries and have experienced many different things during that time. I have transited the Suez canal several times. I have seen the Pyramids, the Parthenon and many more sites in Europe and the Mediterranean Sea. I have been to Germany and Ireland. I sailed the Great Lakes on a Navy ship and have been to the Caribbean many times.
I am married and have one son, two step sons, one step daughter, one grand-daughter and one dog (Taz). Can you guess what type of dog he is?
Prior to my current position at Henryville I was the technology teacher/coordinator for three years at a Catholic Elementary school in Louisville, Kentucky. I taught computers to kindergarten through eighth grades. I love computers and I love to share my knowledge about them to my students.
